GIRNAR Girnar, the highest point in Gujarat, has been one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the state and even western India for centuries. There are 866 Hindu and Jain temples on the tops of these 5 hills. The base of this mountain is called Girnar Taleti (Girnar Taleti), located 4 kilometers east of the center of Junagad.
